MAKING OF DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HISTORY AND CULTURE OF ISTOČNO SARAJEVO UNDERWAY

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 9 /SRNA/ - A crew from Russia's Krasnodar Television has begun filming a documentary about Istočno Sarajevo and life in the city.

The Mayor of Istočno Sarajevo, Ljubiša Ćosić, told SRNA that the guests from Russia are making a film about the culture, history, spirituality, and beauty of Istočno Sarajevo, and that they have visited the Serbian Military Cemetery Novi Zejtinlik, the Sokolica Monastery, as well as Jahorina and Tvrdimići.

"The film will also feature conversations with students from the Secondary School Center Istočna Ilidža, who have already had the opportunity to visit Krasnodar, as well as an interview in which I spoke about our city, its people, and the cooperation that connects us," Ćosić said.

He emphasized that this project, carried out by Krasnodar in cooperation with its city television, once again confirms the deep friendship between the two cities.

"This will also be an opportunity for the citizens of Krasnodar and the entire Russian Federation to get to know Istočno Sarajevo better," Ćosić said.

He expressed his satisfaction that Istočno Sarajevo continues to build bridges of friendship and, in this way, presents itself to the brotherly Russian people.
