MOSCOW, JUNE 13 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said in a statement to TASS that the most important thing is to preserve the integrity of society so that it remains Christian and that an Orthodox Republika Srpska continues to exist.

Dodik assessed that the people will remove French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz from office, and that it is only a matter of time.

He emphasized that European integration can offer little benefit to Republika Srpska, given that the European Union today has no leader.

He added that the situation in the migration sphere also does not contribute to making EU membership more attractive.

"At the same time, the EU is flooded with 40 million migrants. Why do we need to go there? I think the most important thing is to preserve the integrity of our society, for it to remain Christian and for an Orthodox Republika Srpska to exist", Dodik said in an interview with TASS.

Dodik also stated that the Armenian and Moldovan authorities had placed false hopes in the EU, saying that Brussels would deceive them in its attempt to impose what he described as false values on candidate countries.

"Europe is lying, and we should not trust it. I do not understand how Armenia, Moldova and others can trust them. But I think this is a decision of the elites, not the people. It is not in the interest of either the Armenian or the Moldovan people", Dodik said.

Dodik noted that the European Union offers small sums and low-interest loans to accession candidates, while asking for assistance in return.

"And now you are supposed to abandon your values and introduce 'parent number one' and 'parent number two' in schools," Dodik said, adding that Republika Srpska cannot agree to such measures because "it is simply unrealistic."

He pointed out that the West knows it is running out of time to put pressure on Russia, having failed to break it through sanctions.

"The Westerners feel that time is running out for them. They expected sanctions to break Russia," Dodik said.

He noted that Russia realized there are around 15 million Russians in Ukraine who need protection, citing the example that Americans intervene when even one of their citizens is under threat anywhere in the world.

"How could Russia not intervene when it has 15 million Russians under threat? And how could it not intervene, considering how Ukraine came into being? From former Russian territories, which previous authorities carved up piece by piece and used to form Ukraine. That is absurd," Dodik said.

According to Dodik, the "criminal intentions" of Kyiv were also confirmed by an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces on a student dormitory and the academic building of the Starobilsk Pedagogical College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University.
