MACUT: GOOD OPPORTUNITY FOR EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE AND ADVANCEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF ENDOCRINOLOGY

TREBINJE, MAY 23 /SRNA/ - Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut said that the International Symposium of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists in Trebinje will be a good opportunity for the exchange of experience and the advancement of knowledge, adding that he will deliver a lecture on adrenal gland diseases.

“This year, the topics cover nearly all areas of endocrinology, and I will personally give a lecture related to adrenal gland diseases. I hope it will demonstrate how important it is to approach such topics in a multidisciplinary way and to cooperate regionally,” Macut told reporters ahead of the opening of the symposium.

He added that such meetings should demonstrate the level of expertise while also providing ideas on how to improve clinical practice and refer patients for treatment and examinations at higher levels of healthcare.

He assessed that gatherings like this are beneficial and thanked the organizer, the Association of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists of Republika Srpska, for the invitation.
