GRADIŠKA, MAY 10 /SRNA/ - The 18th Festival of Tourism, Economy, Gastronomy and Cultural Heritage, Zdravofest 2026, was held in Gradiška today, bringing together more than 115 participants from Gradiška, Banja Luka, Laktaši, Srbac, Kozarska Dubica, Prijedor, and Drvar.

Numerous exhibitors and women’s associations presented local products, traditional culinary specialties, handicrafts, and the cultural heritage of Gradiška and the wider region at stands in the city park.

Gradiška Mayor Zoran Adžić said that Zdravofest has become a brand of Gradiška, Republika Srpska, and the wider region.

"This is a promotion of Gradiška, its culture and tradition, traditional cuisine, and customs that younger generations have preserved," Adžić said.

He said that the House of Lijevče and Potkozarje has more than 80 certified local products, which is an important indicator that Gradiška has much to offer both to local residents and tourists.

He stressed that Gradiška has a rich tourism offer, including hunting, fishing, honey production, family farms that provide accommodation, and other areas.

"Through the work of the Gradiška Development Agency and the Tourism Organization, the city administration aims to support local producers and entrepreneurs. Our goal is for them, alongside domestic production, to also provide accommodation capacities," Adžić said.

Danka Mirjanić from the Tourism Organization said that the large number of participants and visitors at Zdravofest 2026 is due to the considerable efforts made by the Tourism Organization and the city administration to promote both tourism and the region's potential.

A large number of teams have registered for the competition in preparing fish and game stews.

Creative workshops were organized for the youngest visitors in cooperation with the Agricultural Cluster GLS.

The cultural and artistic program featured singing groups and cultural-artistic societies from the area of Gradiška, the ensemble “Lira” from Banja Luka, and folk music performer Gordana Lazarević as a special guest.

The event was organized by the Gradiška Tourism Organization in cooperation with the City Administration as part of the City Day celebration program.
