BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Anđelka Kuzmić said that the Srpska Government had allocated approximately BAM 4 million for the purchase of Belarus tractors, which is significant support for the survival of young farmers and their families in rural areas.
"The awarding of decisions to beneficiaries who met the requirements and qualified for support to purchase Belarus tractors is proof that we are fulfilling and implementing everything we announced at the beginning of the year," said Kuzmić, who attended the awarding ceremony on Manjača together with Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić.
She told the press that she was proud and pleased that the decisions were also being awarded to numerous young farmers with large families in rural areas.
"This is proof that all our measures have a real impact, because it is not just about tractors, but about promoting sustainable and modern agriculture in rural areas," Kuzmić stressed.
Vasili Panaradau, First Secretary at the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary, said that Belarusian agricultural equipment is world-renowned, economical and effective in all climatic conditions.
"To the future owners of the tractors awarded today, I wish that these machines serve them successfully and as well as possible," Panaradau said.
Farmers from Republika Srpska who will receive Belarusian tractors said that the machines would enable them to complete all agricultural work and tasks more quickly and easily.
They thanked the Srpska Government and the relevant ministry for enabling them to purchase new tractors on favourable terms and renew their agricultural machinery.
