KUZMIĆ: HUNGARY REMAINS PARTNER IN PRODUCTION MODERNISATION PROCESS

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 12 /SRNA/ – Hungary keeps investing in the modernization of agriculture in Republika Srpska, which is the cooperation that produces visible results, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Anđelka Kuzmić told SRNA.

She stated that starting tomorrow and over the next month, farmers and processors in Republika Srpska will be able to apply for a public call for the allocation of agricultural machinery co-financed by the Government of Hungary, with non-refundable funds covering up to 70 percent of the investment value.

"Local farmers and processors will be able to acquire new machinery, equipment and tools and in that way improve their production," Kuzmić said, adding that Republika Srpska continues to invest in the modernization of agriculture and strengthening the competitiveness of local producers.

She emphasized that it is particularly significant that the support is available to a wide range of beneficiaries, with amounts ranging from EUR 2,500 to 25,000 per project, enabling investments to smaller farms and processors as well.

"This is another concrete example of Republika Srpska - Hungary cooperation that produces visible results and contributes to the development of agriculture, the introduction of modern technologies and the creation of better working conditions for our producers," Kuzmić said. /
