KRSTIĆ: DODIK'S STRUGGLE FOR JUSTICE IS ALSO THE STRUGGLE OF ALL SERBS

BUCHAREST, AUGUST 15 /SRNA/ - The president of the Alliance of Serbs in Romania, Ognjan Krstić, expressed his support for Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, emphasizing that the struggle he leads for justice and dignity is also the struggle of all Serbs, wherever they may live.

In a letter of support, Krstić points out that the politically imposed verdict handed down by the Court of BiH against the legitimately elected president of Republika Srpska is a brutal trampling of the electoral will of the Serb people.

"In these difficult and unjust times, I want you to know that you are not alone. The politically imposed verdict of the Court of BiH is not only an attack on you – it is a blow to the Constitution of Republika Srpska, the National Assembly, the institution of the president, and the entire Serb people, whose electoral will is being brutally trampled by this act," says the letter of support.

Krstić stated that this is not merely a court proceeding, but political persecution of a man who, through his work and unwavering struggle, has stood on the front line in defense of Republika Srpska and its people.

The goal, he pointed out, is to weaken what was gained through blood and sacrifice and built into the very foundations of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"The Serbs of Romania, together with me as president of our umbrella organization, send you a message of brotherly support to persevere in the just struggle for the preservation of Serb identity in BiH. Your struggle for justice and dignity is not only your own – it is the struggle of all of us, no matter where we may live," says the letter of support.

He stated that they are deeply concerned for peace and stability in the region, and therefore appeal to all political actors to find the strength for a peaceful and wise solution.

"Mr. President, remain steadfast – the Serb people are with you, Republika Srpska is with you, and Serbs everywhere are with you," the Alliance of Serbs said.
