BANJA LUKA, MAY 15 /SRNA/ – Banja Luka and Republika Srpska are attractive for foreign investments, as provem by the participation of 350 exhibitors from eight countries at the Banja Luka Expo 2026 International Fair, marketing director of the event Milan Krajnović told SRNA.
Krajnović stated that exhibitors were very satisfied with the event held at Studentski Grad, which will end today, while Banja Luka residents demonstrated strong fair culture, reflected in the large number of visitors.
"A large amount of machinery on display had buyers from Republika Srpska, BiH, and the region. On 5,000 square meters of indoor space, exhibitors presented everything they offer. Talks were also held with partners from Srpska, and we expect concrete business cooperation to be achieved," Krajnović said.
He noted that representatives of certain foreign companies announced the possibility of investments and launching business activities with both public and private companies in Srpska.
Krajnović added that the fair has already outgrown its current 5,000 square meters and that future fairs will be a major challenge for the organiser.
He emphasized that Banja Luka has already proven itself as a major fair centre not only of Republika Srpska but of the entire region, as proven by the Tourism Fair, and therefore the city needs a dedicated exhibition space.
"That space could also be used for concerts, conferences, and meetings. Simply put, Banja Luka must have a fairground that can support the entire city," Krajnović stressed.
The Banja Luka Expo 2026 is organised by the companies RS Consulting and Trade Banja Luka and Elite Fair Banja Luka, with institutional support from the Republika Srpska Government, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers, the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, and the City of Banja Luka.
