KOVAČEVIĆ: VUKANOVIĆ SHAMEFULLY BELITTLES SYMBOLS AND CITIZENS OF REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, JULY 10 /SRNA/ - Nebojša Vukanović grossly misused a photograph from a celebration, showing citizens gathered in front of the Palace of the Republic holding the flag of Republika Srpska, on his official and personal blog, Serb member of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Radovan Kovačević said.

"He shamefully edited the photograph by adding the wartime flags of the so-called Republic of BiH and HR Herceg-Bosna, placing them above the flag of Republika Srpska and above the people of Republika Srpska," Kovačević stressed.

He pointed out that such an act represents a deliberate provocation and an open belittling of the symbols of Republika Srpska and its citizens.

"Instead of respecting the institutions and feelings of the people of Republika Srpska, Vukanović has once again shown that political hatred takes precedence over basic responsibility and decency," Kovačević wrote on X.

He said that it is unacceptable for the symbols of Republika Srpska to be desecrated and citizens who proudly display them to be insulted for the sake of cheap political points.

"Such actions do not contribute to democratic dialogue; instead, they deepen divisions and confirm that Vukanović’s politics are based solely on conflict, provocation and the humiliation of everything that represents Republika Srpska," Kovačević concluded.
