BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 16 /SRNA/ – Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Radovan Kovačević has stressed that there are Americans who respect the Serbian people and who believe that the US policy toward us is wrong and unfair, and that Republika Srpska will cooperate with them and show them respect.
"Yes, there are Americans who didn't bomb us. Yes, there are Americans who didn't persecute us or impose sanctions on us. Yes, there are Americans who respect us and believe the U.S. approach toward our people is wrong and unfair. Yes, there are Americans who have never said a bad word about Serbs. And yes, we will cooperate with them and show them our respect," Kovačević emphasized.
Kovačević added that those who cannot get over the fact that those who persecuted us, demonized us, imposed sanctions, bombed us, and killed us lost in America, certainly won't be the ones to lecture us.
"And we certainly won’t be lectured by those who hosted and cooperated with foreigners whose sole agenda was the disappearance of Republika Srpska and the Serb people, such as Michael Murphy and Christian Schmidt," Kovačević posted on X.
Last night in front of the Palace of the Republic in Banja Luka, citizens lit candles and paid tribute to the murdered American activist and key ally of US President Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk.
This compassionate and patriotic act by the citizens of Banja Luka was mocked by some individuals from the opposition in Republika Srpska.
Together with the citizens of Banja Luka, Kovačević also paid tribute, reminding that Kirk advocated for values supported by every patriot, and that those who think differently are no longer choosing their means in attacking people who support Christian and family values.
Kirk succumbed to injuries after an assassination attempt carried out during a lecture at Utah Valley University on September 10.
