BANJA LUKA, JULY 5 /SRNA/ – It is hard to accept that hatred can be greater than respect for the victims, SNSD spokesperson Radovan Kovačević cited in a SRNA statement.

When asked by SRNA to comment on the statement by SDS lader Milan Miličević, in which he made harsh accusations against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik - whose custody order was revoked by the Court of BiH - Kovačević responded that he refrained from comment, as July 5 is a day of mourning remembering 3,267 murdered Serbs of central Podrinje and the Birač region.

"I must say, though, that while I can somewhat understand the Sarajevo Troika, because Serb victims do not concern them, I cannot understand or find justification for the ‘Troika’ from Republika Srpska. Today is a day of mourning in Republika Srpska, and that fact should be respected. Srpska does not forget," Kovačević stated.

The Court of BiH yesterday issued a decision accepting the BiH Prosecutor’s Office’s proposal to revoke the custody order for Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, thus also canceling the arrest warrant previously issued by this court.

The decision to revoke Dodik’s custody caused outrage not only in the Bosniak political circles of Sarajevo and local media but also among the “Troika” from Republika Srpska.
