KOVAČEVIĆ: MURPHY IS JUST LEISURELY RETIREE, WHILE DODIK HAS REMAINED AND WILL REMAIN KEY POLITICAL FIGURE IN SRPSKA AND BiH

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 24 /SRNA/ - Serb deputy in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Radovan Kovačević says that even when it could realistically have been dangerous, he never remained silent about Michael Murphy's attacks on Republika Srpska, therefore he will not do so this time either.

However, Kovačević told SRNA that the very significant difference is that Michael Murphy was once, unfortunately, powerful and did a great deal of harm to Republika Srpska, the Serb people and the constitutional position of Republika Srpska in BiH, whereas these attacks on Republika Srpska and the defence of Sarajevo are now coming from an ordinary idle, leisurely retiree.

"In that regard, very briefly, his mission and his life's ambition was to end Milorad Dodik's career, while the result is that he is now just an idle retiree, while Milorad Dodik has remained and remains a key political figure in Republika Srpska and BiH. Well done, maestro!" Kovačević said.

Former US Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy said that the article titled "Let Bosnia Collapse: Why Trump Must Recognise Republika Srpska," published in the American weekly Washington Examiner, is part of what he described as comprehensive lobbying efforts to change the narrative about BiH in Washington.
