KOVAČEVIĆ: KONAKOVIĆ AND ĆUDIĆ ARE RIGHT, NEVER AN EASIER CHOICE FOR OUR CITIZENS – FOR SRPSKA OR FOR ITS DISAPPEARANCE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 11 /SRNA/ – The Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Radovan Kovačević, said that the citizens of Republika Srpska will decide whether they are for Republika Srpska or for Elmedin Konaković and Sabina Ćudić, adding that citizens are now definitely faced with the easiest decision ever.

Kovačević stated that, for the first time in his life, he agrees with the statements of Elmedin Konaković and Sabina Ćudić.

"I have to say that they are right when they say that citizens of Srpska are facing the easiest decision ever. And the citizens of Srpska will decide whether they are for Srpska or for Konaković and Ćudić, who want and fight for Republika Srpska not to exist and to disappear," Kovačević told RTRS.

He said that the decision is the easiest ever because citizens will be deciding whether they stand for the rights guaranteed to Srpska.

"Among other things, whether we will choose our own representatives in free and democratic elections, or whether we will allow Konaković and Ćudić, acting on the orders of their foreign mentors and helpers, to ‘abolish’ Srpska, to remove the politically elected representatives of Republika Srpska, and, in this case, according to an unconstitutional pattern," Kovačević emphasized.

He reminded that the Constitution states that only the Parliamentary Assembly can adopt laws, but they have chosen the option where an unelected foreigner says he will change the law and that anyone who does not respect his decisions – while respecting Republika Srpska, its citizens, and the Constitution of Srpska – will go to prison and have their mandate, given to them by the citizens of Republika Srpska and the Serb people, taken away.

Kovačević stressed that the citizens of Republika Srpska will decide whether they agree to live in the BiH of Konaković, Ćudić, Izetbegović, and others – a BiH in which Srpska will not exist – or to live in Srpska, where they alone decide their own fate.

"I see that they have commented, although we have been calling for years to talk, even with all those who are signatories and guarantors of the Dayton Agreement, and now they seem to have come around to it. It appears that Konaković and that whole clique are ready to talk to the devil himself just so they don’t have to talk to Serbs and Croats," Kovačević said.

And if they are already going to talk to Serbs and Croats, Kovačević added, in that case they want to talk to those they choose, not to those chosen by the Serb people and the citizens of Republika Srpska.

"We will decide whether we are for Republika Srpska where we make our own decisions, whether we are for Republika Srpska capable of protecting our rights, fighting for a better life in Srpska, or whether we are for Konaković, Ćudić, Izetbegović, Forto, Komšić, and all those who want Srpska gone," Kovačević said.

He pointed out that it is a fact that citizens are facing the easiest choice ever and that he is completely certain that the citizens will choose themselves – that is, Republika Srpska.
