KOŠARAC: CVIJANOVIĆ REPRESENTS SRPSKA AT WORLD STAGES WITH FULL CREDIBILITY

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović is representing Republika Srpska at the most important world stages today with dignity, full political credibility and a clear position, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said.

Košarac told SRNA that Cvijanović's attendance at a reception hosted by US President Donald Trump, for the first time in a format in which not only the Chairman of the Presidency is present, represents a major diplomatic step forward and strong confirmation that the voice of Republika Srpska is being heard where the most important decisions are made.

"The meeting between Cvijanović and Susie Wiles, US President Donald Trump's closest aide, carries particular weight. At a time of complex geopolitical relations, this is not merely a protocol meeting, but proof that persistent, serious and responsible policies can open doors that many claimed had been closed forever," Košarac said.

He said that in these talks Cvijanović is not representing only herself, but also Republika Srpska, its institutions and interests, as well as its right to speak independently and with dignity about issues of vital importance to the Serb people.
