BANJA LUKA, APRIL 11 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska Siniša Karan stated that the MOI would not allow the political crisis in BiH to become a security crisis.

Karan emphasized that plans in which the Prosecution of BiH is used unconstitutionally to direct police authorities to attack each other in order to create a security problem would not succeed.

"We will not allow that and our answer is to strengthen the MOI so that it can be a guarantor of peace and security, while respecting the laws of Srpska which protect its constitutional order," Karan said in response to a question about their relationship with Sipa BiH.

Karan said that the task of the MOI is peace and security in Srpska and BiH, and that the citizens of Srpska can be calm.

"This crisis will remain political and will not turn into a security crisis. The MOI guarantees that to all citizens of Srpska, and that is our task that we will fulfill," Karan told reporters in Banja Luka.

He stated that the culprit for the current political crisis in BiH is absolutely not Srpska, but the former American ambassador Michael Murphy and the illegal high representative Christian Schmidt, who together with the unconstitutional Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH created this crisis, which culminated in the political persecution of the leadership of Srpska.

"The National Assembly gave answer to everything for the sake of protecting the security of Srpska and its population," added Karan.

He noted that in accordance with the Law on the Protection of the Constitutional Order, a special prosecutor's office and a special court of Srpska will be formed to deal with the most important criminal acts that attack the constitutional order of the Republic.

"One of them is disobeying the decisions of the Government, the National Assembly and the like. All employees of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH and all those from Srpska who act contrary to the laws of the said institutions are committing criminal acts, and we ask and warn them not to do that," said Karan.
