KARAN: MAY SPIRIT OF GREAT HOLIDAY OF PURIM REMIND US OF STRENGTH OF UNITY

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 3 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan extended his holiday greetings to all Jews and Jewish communities in Republika Srpska and BiH on the occasion of Purim, wishing that the spirit of this great holiday remind them of the strength of unity, courage in the face of challenges, and the light that always overcomes darkness.

"On the occasion of Purim, the holiday of joy, hope, and unwavering faith, a symbol of the struggle for freedom, dignity, and the survival of the Jewish people, I extend my most sincere holiday greetings to you," Karan stated.

The president of Srpska wished that all Jews spend this holiday in good health, spiritual peace, and joy, surrounded by the love of family and friends.

The Jewish holiday of Purim is celebrated in remembrance of saving the Jewish people from genocide plot in ancient Persia. This year, the celebration began yesterday and ends today.
