KARAN: MAY EASTER BE INCENTIVE TO STRENGTHEN MUTUAL RESPECT

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 4 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President, Siniša Karan, congratulated Easter to all believers in Republika Srpska and BiH who celebrate this holiday according to the Gregorian calendar.

"On the occasion of the greatest Christian holiday - Easter – I extend my sincere congratulations to all believers who celebrate it according to the Gregorian calendar, wishing that you spend the coming days in health, peace, prosperity and the joy of family gatherings," Karan said in his congratulatory note.

Karan wished that the holiday of Christ’s Resurrection be an incentive to strengthen mutual respect and to nurture Christian values, the Office of the Republika Srpska President announced.

"On that note, I wish you a happy Easter," Karan stated.

Christian believers who follow the Gregorian calendar will celebrate Easter tomorrow, the greatest and oldest Christian holiday, commemorating Christ’s Resurrection, His victory over death and sin.
