JERINIĆ OPENED THE THIRD OZREN MEAT FESTIVAL

DOBOJ, MAY 30 /SRNA/ - The Mayor of Doboj, Boris Jerinić, opened the third Ozren Meat Festival today in the Doboj settlement of Tekućica.

More than 60 teams are participating in the competitive part, including those coming from the territory of Serbia, who will demonstrate their skills in preparing sač (a traditional dish cooked under a metal bell), peeling potatoes, drinking beer, hammering nails into wood, playing "beer pong," and eating spicy sausages.

Jerinić thanked the organizers and the teams that provided the conditions for more than 1,000 guests to enjoy the beauties of Duboki potok on Mount Ozren, along with music, socializing, and the competitive segment.

He emphasized that this event is significant for Doboj and Ozren, which was also recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Srpska, which supported this gathering.

"We have something to show, to be proud of, and things to boast about," Jerinić told reporters.

As part of the third Ozren Meat Festival, stalls were set up where local producers exhibited their culinary products and handicrafts.
