ISRAELI COMPANY INTERESTED IN TRANSFERRING PRODUCTION FROM TURKEY TO SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – The Republika Srpska Government has given approval for signing a memorandum of understanding with the company Aktiv Israel Acrylic Industries, which has expressed interest in relocating its production capacities from Turkey and launching production of acrylic bathtubs, shower cabins, panels, sinks, and related products in the territory of Srpska.

Representatives of the company have visited Republika Srpska several times, where they toured multiple local communities, and chose the area of the city of Gradiška as the most suitable location.

The plan is for the investor to employ between 100 and 160 workers, to cooperate intensively with educational institutions to improve collaboration, as well as with local business entities, contribute to the development of local competitiveness, and use modern and environmentally friendly technologies in production.

Negotiations with this company have been ongoing since December last year, and discussions have been held several times with the Republika Srpska Government and units of local self-government, the Government’s Public Relations Bureau stated.
