BANJA LUKA, APRIL 3 /SRNA/ - The Dean of the Faculty of Security Studies at the University of Banja Luka Predrag Ćeranić has said that the unconstitutional Court of BiH made a politically motivated decision in the case against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and that the decision of Interpol not to issue a red notice for Srpska officials should also be viewed in this context.
"Interpol's Statute does not allow the issuance of politically motivated notices, and this decision is yet another proof that President Dodik is subjected to political persecution," Ćeranić told SRNA.
He asked how else one could interpret the fact that the decision of foreigner Christian Schmidt, who does not have the approval of the UN Security Council to serve as the High Representative, was considered a sufficient basis for initiating criminal proceedings.
"This is yet another proof that everything happening to Dodik, Stevandić, and also to /the Prime Minister of Srpska Radovan/ Višković, is politically motivated and should be viewed solely in a political context," Ćeranić said.
According to him, the way out of the political crisis in BiH lies in internal dialogue, discussion, and a political solution.
Interpol rejected yesterday the request of the unconstitutional Court of BiH to issue a red notice for the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Srpska Nenad Stevandić.
