BANJA LUKA, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ – The international economy fair Banja Luka Expo 2026 will be held from May 13 to 15, bringing together 400 exhibitors from eight countries at the University of Banja Luka Student Campus complex.
The fair, now in its third edition, will gather a record number of domestic and international companies with the aim of strengthening cooperation, promoting economic potential, and opening new investment opportunities, organizers RS Consulting and Trade and Elite Fair said in a statement.
Companies from various sectors will be represented, including construction, electrical and mechanical industries, wood processing, IT, as well as financial institutions, insurance companies, and real estate firms.
In addition to businesses, local communities from across Republika Srpska will also have the opportunity to present their development projects, investment potential and incentives for investors.
The focus of the event will be on connecting business entities, exchanging experiences, and creating new partnerships.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee Slaviša Kovačević said the fair will cover more than 15,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space, about 5,000 square meters more than in previous editions.
"The expansion is the result of strong interest from exhibitors, and applications are already well underway. The partner is Expo 2027, which will be held in Serbia next year," the statement said.
The event is held under the patronage of the President and Government of Republika Srpska, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Ministry for Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology, and the City of Banja Luka.
In addition to the exhibition segment, a rich accompanying program is planned, including expert meetings, panel discussions, training sessions, and presentations on current economic topics. A panel discussion titled "Expo 2027 – A Development Opportunity for Serbia and the Region" will be the central event.
Banks, development agencies and chambers of commerce will also take part, presenting available support, financing, and co-financing programs, alongside business meetings and direct talks between companies and sectoral delegations.
