INTENSIVE CARE UNIT FOR NON-SURGICAL BRANCHES OPENS

FOČA, MARCH 6 /SRNA/ – The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Republika Srpska, Alen Šeranić, and the acting director of University Hospital Foča, Nenad Lalović, today opened the Intensive Care Unit for non-surgical branches, equipped according to world standards.

The opening ceremony was also attended by the director of the University Clinical Centre of Republika Srpska, Nikola Šobot, the director of Hospital Srbija Istočno Sarajevo, Nebojša Šešlija, as well as directors and representatives of numerous health institutions from Republika Srpska.

Deputy head of the unit, Milada Simeunović, explained to SRNA that non-surgical intensive care represents a special part of the hospital intended for the treatment of critically ill patients whose condition is not caused by surgeries or physical trauma.

This is a modernly equipped unit.
