IMAM SENTENCED FOR THREATS AGAINST PAVLOVIĆ

BRATUNAC, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ – The Basic Court Srebrenica has issued a final verdict sentencing Islamic theology professor and imam from Blagaj near Mostar Hišam Hafizović to a fine for making verbal telephone threats against the head of the

Eastern Alternative civic association, Vojin Pavlović, and his family because of his activities in the association.
Hafizović was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine of BAM 1,000.

On March 4, 2022, he telephoned Pavlović by phone, insulted him and threatened to kill him and his family, thereby endangering their lives.

Pavlović told SRNA that he had received the verdict and that, after four years, justice had been served, although Hafizović's sentence is mild.
