GRUSHKO AND KALABUKHOV HONOR MARSHAL ZHUKOV WITH WREATH-LAYING

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 22 /SRNA/ – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko and Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov laid a wreath today at the bust of Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov in Banja Luka.

The bust of the Soviet military commander is located at Fallen Fighters Square in the city center.

Earlier, Grushko and Kalabukhov laid a wreath at the Monument to Fallen World War II Fighters as part of Banja Luka City Day commemorations, together with numerous delegations.

Banja Luka marks City Day in remembrance of April 22, 1945, when the city was liberated from occupying forces during World War II.
