BANJA LUKA, APRIL 15 /SRNA/ - The Head of the Republic Organisation of Families of Captured, Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians Isidora Graorac considers the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ ambassadors and the self-declared High Representative Christian Schmidt holding their session at the Memorial Center in Potočari instead of Sarajevo, a provocation and an insult to Serb victims of war.
"Of all the places of great suffering in the past war, they chose that place to make decisions and measures, which will certainly go in a direction that does not lead to the relaxing of tensions," Graorac told SRNA.
She has pointed out that this, as well as all previous activities and imposed solutions, belittled Serb victims, the Serb people and those who day after day say that crimes against Serbs have not been processed.
"We are aware that at this moment we are alone and that we do not have the support of all those ambassadors who are sitting in Srebrenica today, making decisions about us," Graorac stated.
She emphasized that 3,267 Serb civilians and soldiers were killed in the most monstrous ways in Podrinje for being Serbs.
"The modus operandi was not chosen; today they are being killed again by disrespecting their sacrifice, by not acknowledging and not prosecuting the crime," Graorac said.
She pointed out that over 142 families lost more than three members, and hundreds of children were left without one or both parents.
"We must turn to ourselves and fight with all available means so that the truth about the suffering of Serbs reaches the countries whose representatives today in Potočari are supporting Bosniaks and paying tribute only to their victims," Graorac emphasized.
She said that the provocation and belittling of Serb victims will never, unfortunately, stop.
"What is different is the awakening of the Serb people and the desire to never again allow anyone to decide what and how they will do. From now on, we decide it ourselves," said Graorac.
