GOVERNMENT ADOPTS DECREE ON TOURIST VOUCHER ALLOCATION

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 13 /SRNA/ – The Government of Republika Srpska today adopted a decree on the allocation of tourist vouchers to citizens of Republika Srpska, aimed at developing domestic tourism by subsidizing accommodation services at hospitality establishments.

Under the decree, a citizen of Republika Srpska may use one tourist voucher worth BAM 100, provided they stay for at least two consecutive nights, including breakfast, in a single accommodation unit at a hospitality establishment, the Government's Public Relations Bureau said.

The main purpose of the vouchers is to encourage travel and the use of tourism services within Republika Srpska, directly benefiting hospitality providers.

The overall objective of the tourist voucher scheme is to support the tourism sector and citizens of Republika Srpska by encouraging them to spend their holidays within Republika Srpska, thereby contributing to the development of domestic tourism and increasing spending in the entity.
