ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, MAY 3 /SRNA/ - Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović stated that Dobrovoljačka Street represents one of the clearest examples of selective justice and institutional silence in BIH.
"This is not only about the past, but about the ongoing humiliation of Serbian victims and their families. The attack on JNA soldiers who were withdrawing from Sarajevo was an organized crime, and the fact that no one has been held accountable sends an open message that justice does not exist for Serbian victims," Goganović said after marking the 34th anniversary of the crime against JNA soldiers in Dobrovoljačka Street, which he attended together with members of the Third Infantry /Republika Srpska/ Regiment.
He warned that such an approach by judicial institutions directly undermines trust in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"If justice depends on your name and the people you belong to, then this is not a state governed by law, but a political project. Such practice is unsustainable and dangerous in the long term," Goganović emphasized in a statement to SRNA.
He stressed that representatives of Republika Srpska will continue to demand the full truth and accountability.
"We are asking for nothing more than what belongs to every victim - truth and justice. Until that happens, Dobrovoljačka will remain a symbol not only of crime, but also of systemic injustice toward Serbs," Goganović concluded.
