GAGIĆ DEMANDS PUNISHMENT FOR BOSNIAK EXTREMISTS’ WAR CRIES AND SHOOTING

BANJALUKA, FEBRUARY 8 /SRNA/ – Milovan Gagić, president of the Veterans’ Organization of Republika Srpska /BORS/, stated that the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH must punish Bosniak extremists who, at a gathering in Hasin Vrh near Bihać, shouted war cries and fired guns, thereby intimidating Serbs in nearby Serb returnee villages.

"If they can sentence a Serb to three years for raising three fingers and holding photos of a wartime commander and the first president of Republika Srpska, I hope the law will also punish those who fire automatic weapons," Gagić told SRNA.

He stressed that BORS will not sit idly by, as everyone is fed up with Serbs being prosecuted while much worse offenders walk free and do as they please.

Gagić pointed out that Bosniak extremists have for years been harassing Serb returnees in the Federation of BiH and Serbs in Republika Srpska with war cries and other intimidation.

"The problem is that there is no response from the competent court, the Prosecutor’s office, or the Agency for Investigation and Protection of BiH," Gagić noted.
