FIVE PENSIONERS IN SRPSKA OVER 100 YEARS OLD

BIJELJINA, DECEMBER 12 /SRNA/ – There are five pensioners in Republika Srpska who are over 100 years old, including four who are 105 – three women and one man, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Srpska told SRNA.

"These beneficiaries carry a special symbolism for the Fund, as they represent the continuity of the system and confirm that caring for the oldest citizens remains one of our most important responsibilities," the Fund states.

The oldest beneficiary in Republika Srpska's pension system is a woman with the initials S.K., born in early 1920 in the Foča area, who has been receiving a family pension continuously since 1989.

Also born in early 1920 is B.B. from Prijedor, who has been receiving a family pension for 41 years.

Born in late 1920 are M.G. from Banja Luka, a recipient of an old-age pension for 35 years, and A.M. from Doboj, who has been receiving a family pension for 35 years.

Among the centenarians in the Republika Srpska pension system is also D.T. from Banja Luka, born in early 1922, who has been receiving a family pension for 17 years.
