FILM "WITNESS" SCREENED IN CHICAGO

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 29 /SRNA/ - As part of the Serbian Film Festival, the documentary film "Witness" by Denis Bojić was screened in Chicago, presenting moving testimonies and valuable archives from the well-known doctor Zoran Stanković, documenting the suffering of the Serbian people during the wars of the 1990s.

The film was produced by Radio-Television of Republika Srpska, in cooperation with the Republika Srpska Representative Office in the U.S.A.

The Director of the Serbian Film Festival in Chicago, Slavica Petrović, said that the film is "a masterpiece depicting our history".

"This is like an engraved testimony, and I am glad that so many people turned out to see it," Petrović added.

The Consul-General of BiH to the USA Tatjana Telić expressed her satisfaction that such a film was made, and Marko Nikolić, the Consul-General of Serbia to the USA, stated that it is another important testimony and confirmation of the widespread suffering of our people.

Director Denis Bojić emphasized the importance of spreading the story of Serbian suffering.

The screening in Chicago continues the film's international journey, with a mission to preserve memory and convey the truth to future generations.

The documentary "Witness" will also be shown in other cities across the USA.
