BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 3 /SRNA/ - Aleksandar Lozo was authorized by the company Comsar Energy to sign the contract on the transfer of concession rights to the Ugljevik Mine and Thermal Power Plant /RiTE/, said Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić, thereby refuting reports by certain media outlets, including BN Television.
"Lozo was authorized to sign such a contract because, at the Founding Assembly on December 26, he was appointed as a procurator on behalf of the company Comsar Energy, thus acquiring the legally prescribed rights to sign certain acts, including such a contract, " Đokić told reporters today in Banja Luka.
Đokić said that Lozo is not in a conflict of interest on any grounds, taking into account the applicable positive legal regulations.
"We are ready, if necessary, to further strengthen Lozo’s role as the authorized signatory for this type of contract and to ensure full compliance with his employment and legal status, in this case as the signatory of the contract," Đokić concluded.
On January 31, in Ugljevik, a contract was signed for the transfer of concession rights for coal exploitation at the Istok Two deposit from Comsar Energy to RiTE Ugljevik.
The contract was signed on behalf of the government by the Minister of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska, Petar Đokić, the representative of Comsar Energy Republika Srpska, Aleksandar Lozo, and the director of RiTE Ugljevik, Žarko Novaković.
