ĐOKIĆ: FINAL DECISION ON UGLJEVIK CONCESSION TO BE MADE IN COMING DAYS

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 13 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić said that the Government has been briefed today on the current status of the transfer of concession rights from Komsar Energy to the Ugljevik Mine and Thermal Power Plant, specifically the East Two mine, adding that a final enforceable decision on the matter will be made within seven days.

"Requests for the transfer of rights have been submitted and all documentation will be harmonized in the next seven days, after which a decision on the transfer for the East Two Area will be adopted at the next session of the Republika Srpska Government," Đokić told a press conference in Banja Luka following the Srpska Government session.

He stressed that preparations related to coal exploitation in this area can already begin.
