BEOGRAD, APRIL 15 /SRNA/ – SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik says that Republika Srpska is concerned by the fact that Croatia, Albania, and the so-called Kosovo have formed a military alliance aimed at threatening the security and stability of the Serb people and their states, as well as regional security.
"Srpska is essentially endangered by such an alliance, bearing in mind that the Croat component in BiH is certainly oriented toward such positions, and it can be guaranteed that the Bosniak one is as well," Dodik told the press in Belgrade following a meeting between the leadership of Republika Srpska, the president of Serbia, and representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbia’s Armed Forces.
Dodik stressed that this alliance must be closely monitored by everyone in both Republika Srpska and Serbia.
"Its formation is not a message that someone wants stability in the Balkans. This alliance indicates the need for us in Srpska to ensure our own security. We are carefully monitoring the situation; there are worrying elements, as they are expanding the scope of their plans and hiding much in order to secure readiness for certain operations," Dodik said.
Such an alliance, he says, is not formed without a specific goal, and its only goal is to endanger the stability of the Serb people and their states.
"The Serbia's Armed Forces are a respected force regionally, and its defensive component guarantees peace and stability for the Serb people and the state of Serbia," Dodik concluded.
