BANJA LUKA, MAY 11 /SRNA/ - SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik says that experts in the United States cooperating with Republika Srpska are working on preparing a lawsuit against the former US administration over sanctions imposed on Republika Srpska officials.
Dodik stated that it had become clear that the sanctions were not in accordance with regulations, nor with decisions made by former US President Joe Biden himself.
"Biden knew nothing about it anyway, or did not want to know. All decisions were signed using the so-called autopen, meaning they were falsified from the standpoint of the US president's signature," Dodik said at a press conference in Banja Luka.
He added that proceedings are underway in the United States aimed at determining how the US judicial system was allegedly abused in the prosecution and sentencing of President Donald Trump.
"We recognised the importance of that, and we will make efforts to impose sanctions on Sena Uzunović, as well as on other judges and prosecutors who abused the court for political confrontations," Dodik stated.
Speaking about Christian Schmidt's departure from BiH, Dodik recalled that Schmidt received a salary of EUR 24,000, as well as an additional EUR 14,000 for separated living and work in an unstable area, which he described as part of a criminal activity called false representation.
"Everywhere in the world that is a criminal offense," Dodik said, adding that Schmidt's legacy would not be allowed to survive.
He pointed out that Schmidt came to BiH to seize property and take away from the Serb people what is sacred to them - Republika Srpska.
He stressed that Republika Srpska must carefully consider who will represent it at the BiH level.
"This year, a decision will be made about how far Republika Srpska will develop and to what extent it will continue to exist. Banja Luka's victory over Sarajevo is existential and historic, not merely political," Dodik said.
He added that the people of Republika Srpska must rally around sovereignist policies that provide strength, represent the people, and around individuals who understand history and support partnerships both in the East and the West.
