DODIK: WE KNEW TRUMP ADMINISTRATION WOULD UNDERSTAND US

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 25 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik stated Republika Srpska welcomed the return of U.S. President Donald Trump to the White House because it was known that his administration would understand Republika Srpska what officials had gone through during the term of former President Joe Biden.

Appearing on War Zone, a podcast hosted by Wayne Allyn Root, a supporter of the U.S. president and an American conservative political commentator, Dodik recalled that, unfortunately, during U.S. President Donald Trump’s first term, Republika Srpska was unable to gain access to his administration because it was known that the “deep state” that existed there would not have allowed it.

"We now know that the sanctions imposed on me were arranged secretly. Even some officials from the Trump administration were unaware of those sanctions," Dodik said.

He recalled that when Biden came to power, the USA began sorting people in Srpska to the left and right, citing the example of his son, daughter, close associates, and senior officials of Republika Srpska who were subjected to severe sanctions.

"Imagine this justification - in order to protect U.S. national interests, they closed a restaurant here in Banja Luka because it allegedly represented a threat to U.S. national interests. It was so terrible, so arrogant; they were demonstrating their power, it was humiliating for us," Dodik said.

He recalled that then-U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James O’Brien, and especially Michael Murphy, who was the U.S. ambassador to BiH, did not hesitate to impose the most primitive measures against Republika Srpska officials,, such as freezing their accounts, prohibiting them from cooperating with other parties, shutting down companies, even though there was no corruption or criminal activity that would have provoked such measures.

"That was the situation. That is why we welcomed President Trump’s return to the White House, because we finally saw that someone would understand us and realize that we had been targeted because we supported President Trump. Biden made life here terrible.

For example, I could not receive my salary; I was not allowed to have a bank account. The postman delivered my salary to me. It was scandalous. No one can love America of that time," Dodik said.

He stressed that he has nothing against the American people and that he likes the American people, but that he never wants to see an administration like Biden’s again in his lifetime.
