DODIK: TUNNEL BREAKTHROUGH ON GORNJI HORIZONTI A HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENT

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 25 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik extended congratulations to "Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske" and the company "Integral Inženjering" for the breakthrough of the 12,125-meter-long tunnel on the Gornji Horizonti project, calling it an immeasurable historic achievement.

"Engineers and designers have measured 12,125 meters of tunnel on Gornji Horizonti, but this grand accomplishment is beyond measure. A historic endeavor, a historic moment - the breakthrough of the tunnel," Dodik wrote on the social network X.

He added that such major projects are not built only with machines, stone, and steel - but also with hope and dreams.

"I am proud that our dreams have come true. Proud of the knowledge, expertise, and dedication of our builders. I extend my sincere congratulations to 'Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske' and 'Integral Inženjering' for completing this project - the largest in the Balkans in the past 35 years," Dodik stated.

The Nevesinje-Dabarsko Polje tunnel, the largest hydroengineering facility within the "Dabar" Hydroelectric Power Plant and more than 12 kilometers long, has officially been broken through, acting general director of "Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske" Luka Petrović told SRNA yesterday.
