MRAKOVICA, JULY 11 /SRNA/ - SNSD President Milorad Dodik stated that they want to build BiH based on lies, adding that the Serbian people did not fight to be placed under the tutelage of Muslims from Sarajevo, but fought for freedom embodied by Republika Srpska and for its right to decide its own future.

"The Serbian people have throughout history liberated other nations, believing that they were bringing them freedom, but at the end of the last century they once again suffered at the hands of those same people who, based on lies, created a political framework called BiH, in which Serbs are expected to suffer until they either leave or disappear biologically," Dodik said at Mrakovica, where the 84th anniversary of the Battle of Kozara was commemorated.

Dodik emphasized that a distorted perception of the events surrounding the breakup of Yugoslavia has led to the suffering of Serbs being considered insignificant, while the suffering of Muslims has been magnified into a senseless lie claiming that 300,000 of them were killed.

"We must speak clearly about these events, because we must not forget our past," Dodik said.

He added that the Serbian people know that the institution he referred to as the "execution" called the Hague Tribunal was created to convict Serbs.

"They wanted to put on trial and convict both /Radovan/ Karadžić and /Ratko/ Mladić, and to invent for them a command responsibility that does not exist anywhere in law as such, created solely to whitewash Muslim and Croatian history from the Second World War," Dodik said.

He stated that a revision of history is also taking place at the global level, and that the suffering of the Russian people is being attempted to be portrayed as insignificant.

"Victory Day, May 9, was turned into Europe Day to conceal the fact that fascism was defeated at that time precisely by the Soviet people, who lost 28 million lives, while the Serbian people lost 1.8 million lives," Dodik recalled.

He added that Republika Srpska is an example of tolerance and that it does not interfere in the internal affairs of the Federation of BiH, unlike that entity, which, he said, interferes in the internal affairs of Srpska.

"They /Muslims/ are not here today because their ancestors took our people to Jasenovac. They are nowhere at commemorations of victories in the Second World War, because they were on the other side," Dodik said.
