LAKTAŠI, APRIL 18 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said that the Serb people will never be a minority in BiH and that no one will ever defeat them because they seek freedom.
"Our struggle for freedom will be complete when we are free, and when we unite with Serbia in the way we believe is right, and not to do any harm to anyone else," Dodik said in an address at the Congress of the Socialist Party in Laktaši.
Dodik stated that Sarajevo is not his capital, but rather Banja Luka and Belgrade.
According to him, the Serb people today have Republika Srpska because, throughout their history, they have learned that where there is no Serb state, there is no freedom for the Serb people.
"In Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in the FBiH, there is no freedom for the Serb people. Others have sought to secure for themselves one people and one state, so why is that denied only to Serbs?" Dodik asked.
He said that Republika Srpska will develop by 2030 and that more than BAM 15 billion will be invested during this period, noting that investments worth more than BAM 4.5 billion have already been launched this year.
"Next week, we will begin construction of the highway from Bijeljina to Brčko," Dodik announced.
The SNSD leader stated that BiH can only be accepted by Republika Srpska according to the provisions of the Dayton Agreement Constitution, not its interpretation.
"If they want to have a common state, the judiciary must fall under the jurisdiction of Republika Srpska," Dodik emphasized.
Speaking about relations between Republika Srpska and Serbia Milorad Dodik said that the coalition of Aleksandar Vučić and Ivica Dačić has revitalized Serbia, improved it, and made it stronger, more developed, better connected in terms of infrastructure, and economically more robust.
He emphasized that he is proud of his friendship with Dačić, adding that thanks to him, the idea of the Socialist Party of Serbia has been preserved and that Serbia pursues a peaceful policy, just like Republika Srpska.
Dodik said he was pleased with Donald Trump’s victory in the United States and that Republika Srpska is working with his people, and maintaining contacts and cooperation with the Russian Federation and President Vladimir Putin.
He added that he hopes for Russia’s victory in the special military operation in Ukraine, that he supports U.S. President Trump in everything he does, and that he wishes all the best to the Jewish people in Israel.
