BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 5 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik thanked Hungarian Fidesz party leader Viktor Orbán for congratulating SNSD on its victory in yesterday's election.
"A friend who stands with Republika Srpska in Brussels and all around the world when it is hardest is a friend we never forget," Dodik wrote on X.
Dodik stressed that the election was a vote for stability, sovereignty and the right of a people to decide for themselves about their future.
"Republika Srpska will keep standing up for its interests - and will keep standing with its friends," Dodik concluded.
Orbán also congratulated all his friends in SNSD on their victory in yesterday’s general election in BiH, particularly party leader Dodik and candidates for Serb member of the BiH Presidency and President of Republika Srpska, Željka Cvijanović and Savo Minić, respectively, calling the victory a "grand slam".
The Fidesz leader added that the victory provided a strong mandate to continue advocating for the interests and rights of Republika Srpska.
