ST. PETERSBURG, JUNE 5 /SRNA/ - President of SNSD Milorad Dodik said that he would if OHR was closed yesterday, and that the transitional project, suggested by the Americans, could be acceptable if confirmed or welcomed by the UN Security Council.

Dodik expressed hope that the USA will persist in its concept of the transition of OHR and the handing over of sovereignty to BiH.

"Their influence will not disappear, neither the influence of the European Union nor America will disappear, but what is not acceptable in terms of civilization will disappear, which is that a foreigner can make decisions and that these become laws for Muslims," Dodik said commenting on the fiasco of the PIC session and the announcement of the US Embassy publicly criticizing EU countries.

Dodik said that it would be good if the high representative never existed.

"We believe that the UN Security Council is an indispensable place, and that in that variant, someone can be given a period of one year to complete all tasks in that transition without Bonn authorizations and to simply hand over that sovereignty to BiH," Dodik told reporters from Republika Srpska in St. Petersburg after talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

After that, he believes, BiH could show readiness to discuss all open issues.

Dodik described the Americans' approach as fair because, as he said, they clearly stated that they will reconsider their international participation in BiH.

"We understand the fears of Bosniaks, but the problem is that they, surrounded by the story of support from Westerners, never wanted to understand our fears. All arrangements so far in BiH, in the alliance of Bosniaks, Muslims and `Westerners,` were against Serb interests and our position in Dayton, which we respected," said Dodik.

He pointed out that only original Dayton can give some kind of a chance to BiH, but it must be reached quickly.

According to him, every kind of beating a dead horse will only strengthen the belief that it is impossible.

Dodik said that he is not familiar with the details of the American proposal, but he thinks that it could be the sequence of the path we are taking.

"Then France got involved, first of all, in an agreement with Germany and Great Britain to counter that story about the transition period. They are now, because of their relations on other issues, trying to go to war with America in this regard, and that is why it was inevitable that this outcome would happen," Dodik concluded.

Dodik said that the question arises - how do they, who are quarreling, think to make a solution that should reconcile relations in BiH?

"Who are you reconciling? Well, you're in a fight, you can't do anything. You are showing us that everything that was done - was done from some imagination, that everything was wrong and that the real situation is exactly what we saw in the previous two days," the SNSD leader said.

Dodik believes that "if we want freedom, we should expel the Germans and the French and the British and everyone from Brussels because of their efforts to decide on issues in BiH".

"We realize that international context speaks about preserving stability and peace, and I think it can be strengthened through strengthening of the Dayton structure, and that the Dayton structured, no matter how many times it is mentioned in a negative sense as well, is the only chance for BiH," Dodik emphasized.

Dodik noted that the European integrations are not the problem.

"To us, the problem is the current bureaucracy in Brussels that acts like a supporter, like in this case France, Germany and England - they act like fans for Bosniaks," said Dodik.

He concluded that everything we have as interventionism is wrong.

"We are ready for talks, if they want to, and if they don't want to - we are still ready for talks. If they won't even then - we will invite them to talk," said Dodik.
