DODIK: STRENGTHEN POLITICAL AND INSTITUTIONAL POSITION

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 30 /SRNA/ — SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that the party has four clear goals important for the future of Republika Srpska, including peace and security for its people, as well as preserving and strengthening its political and institutional status.

"Our goal is also to secure what is essential for a stable future - sufficient water, energy and food. Equally important is our spirituality - to preserve our identity, values and what has sustained us as a people throughout history," Dodik said in a post on X.

Dodik reminded that during the past week he attended events marking the 30th anniversary of the founding of the SNSD in Gradiška, met with film director Lordan Zafranović in Trebinje and attended the Youth Encounters event in the city.

In his weekly review, Dodik said he also attended a business event organized by the Employers’ Union and met with Russian Ambassador to BiH Igor Kalabukhov.

Dodik also attended a memorial service for General Ratko Mladić at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka.

President Dodik additionally attended the opening of the 61st Kočić Gathering, a football match between Banja Luka-based FK Borac and Víkingur, and an event in Jošavka marking the centenary of the local church.
