BANJA LUKA, JUNE 30 /SRNA/ - SNSD president Milorad Dodik said that Republika Srpska is economically stable and capable of accessing financial markets.
Dodik said that Republika Srpska is recognized as an independent actor in many countries around the world.
"We are holding talks with them because BiH's foreign policy has failed," Dodik told reporters in Banja Luka after a meeting of the ruling coalition.
He said that BiH's foreign policy had failed because it is being conducted solely on behalf of Bosniaks by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović, the Croat member of the Presidency Željko Komšić, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers Elmedin Konaković.
"In line with their false representation, we have the right to present ourselves truthfully to our partners," Dodik said.
He said that the recent visit by the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović to Israel had confirmed the continuity of relations between that country and Republika Srpska.
"They were bothered by the absence of the BiH flag, but at many other places we visit there will be fewer and fewer BiH flags as well, because we have gained nothing beneficial from BiH, only harm," Dodik said.
He stressed that the BiH level had blocked the implementation of numerous projects, which remain stalled.
"The majority of our population believes in stability and supports what we are doing. We want to secure a two-thirds majority in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, as well as 10 seats in the House of Representatives and four seats in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, so that all decision-making levers are in Republika Srpska rather than Sarajevo," Dodik said.
