BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 5 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik pointed out that Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić's bow to Republika Srpska was not merely a gesture of respect, but also a tribute to a people who have remained standing despite all suffering, pressures and attempts to make them disappear.
"Republika Srpska has always stood by its people and by Serbia. That is why these words carry the weight of truth - that we are strongest when we are together, when we protect one another, and when we know that Serbia and Republika Srpska are each other's support. Long live Republika Srpska. Long live Serbia!" Dodik posted.
In a post on X, Dodik shared a video from last night's central commemoration in Mrkonjić Grad marking the Day of Remembrance for all Serbs who were killed or displaced during the 1995 Croatian-Muslim pogrom against the Serbs of Republika Srpska Krajina and Republika Srpska. During the event, Vučić bowed to those gathered and thanked Republika Srpska for everything it had done for Serbia.
Approximately 10,000 people attended the gathering in Mrkonjić Grad.
