BANJA LUKA, APRIL 21 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik has stated today in Banja Luka that he is not interested in Christian Schmidt's departure from BiH and stressed that he should never have come in the first place.

After the meeting with HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović, Dodik emphasized that Republika Srpska is an indispensable factor in the nomination of any high representative, as stipulated by Annex 10.

"That consent was not given to Christian Schmidt. He left behind a mess that needs to be cleaned up. I am not interested in him in either a political or biological sense. He has absolutely not earned any attention here, including when he will leave," Dodik said, answering journalist's questions about Schmidt's possible departure from BiH.

Čović stressed that no decision of the so-called High Representative in BiH should have been adopted, adding that domestic political actors should take responsibility through executive and legislative authorities at the BiH level.

"What has been done has been done. What will happen remains to be seen, but it is good for BiH that we finally start functioning, that we do not pursue alibi politics in which someone else makes decisions for us, regardless of the issue," Čović said.
