BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 7 /SRNA/ – SNSD President Milorad Dodik said that Republika Srpska has a serious partner in Israel, as a state that has significant influence on global centers of decision-making and power.

"Our friends in Israel will be informed about what we agreed in Washington," Dodik said at a press conference at the Banja Luka airport after the return of the Republika Srpska delegation from the USA.

He said that Republika Srpska will continue to work on its affirmation and its right to self-determination.

"Bosniak Muslims did not allow the construction of an equal community, which in essence was never even possible throughout history, but instead wanted to build a dominant community only for themselves, undermining us Christians to such an extent that this is merely a historical continuity since the Ottoman approaches," Dodik said.

He added that in Jerusalem they know what suffering, persecution, sanctions, and false accusations mean, and that Serbs and Jews share a common history of hardship and suffering.

"We support their politics of a free, united, and unquestionable Israel and freedom for the Jewish people. We support their activities to secure that bastion of freedom that they must defend," Dodik emphasized.

He added that in Israel he did not have to explain that in Sarajevo they want to abolish Republika Srpska, because they have a similar situation with Hamas and Hezbollah, which want to eliminate Israel.

“It is the same politics, perhaps with a different narrative. In Sarajevo we saw Hamas flags promoting support for that terrorist organization. The Muslim Brotherhood, with whom Bakir Izetbegović and Bisera Turković have been photographed, is a terrorist organization banned in the USA, and this shows that we have fewer and fewer reasons to conduct any kind of talks that would end in some possible future coexistence,” Dodik said.

He said that all future talks involving Republika Srpska will focus on preserving peace, while political processes must be verified.

“No one can impose anything on us anymore,” Dodik said.

He added that he is fully confident regarding the policies Republika Srpska has pursued so far.
