DODIK: RUSSIAN ACADEMY WANTS FURTHER COOPERATION WITH ANURS

MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 28 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik stated that members of the Russian Academy of Sciences expressed a desire at a meeting in Moscow to establish further cooperation with the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Republika Srpska /ANURS/.

"This cooperation already exists. We will support its intensification in various scientific fields and make it more visible in the interest of our people," Dodik told the press in Moscow after a meeting with representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

He noted that the Republika Srpska delegation, which also includes Prime Minister Savo Minić, was briefed on the work of the Russian Academy, which has existed for 300 years.

During the meeting, Dodik informed Russian academicicians about the position of Republika Srpska within BiH and the Serb people’s perseverance.

He announced that the Russian Academy of Sciences and Arts would be presented with an award recognizing its cooperation to date, which is being presented on the occasion of January 9, Republika Srpska Day.

Russian academician Vladislav Panchenko Yakovlevich expressed his admiration for President Dodik for his perseverance in the struggle for the Serb people.
