DODIK: RUSSIA IS A COUNTRY OF PEACE, SEEKING COOPERATION AMONG STATES AND NATIONS

SAINT PETERSBURG, JUNE 21 /SRNA/ – Russia demonstrates that it is a country of peace and strives for cooperation, which is what draws many participants to the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, stated the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Dodik emphasized that Russia presents itself as a country of civilization, a country that defines many standards and important values.

"Russia is a country of peace, and despite the fact that it is conducting a special military operation which it was compelled to launch, it remains committed to cooperation among states and nations and does not impose decisions on anyone. That is what draws so many people to the Forum," said Dodik on the sidelines of the event.

He mentioned that the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum is, above all, a practical event that enables the signing of numerous cooperation agreements and the showcasing of the achievements of the Russian economy.

"This is an impressive gathering not only of Russia’s friends, but also of individuals engaged in the real economy. This forum is not tied to ideology or any specific theory, but above all to practice. A large number of cooperation agreements are signed here, and it is a great opportunity to present the achievements of the Russian economy in all modern sectors," Dodik stressed.

The Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, which began on June 18, concludes today.
