BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik emphasized that the question of the announced referendum in Republika Srpska following the ruling of the extra-constitutional Court of BiH will be posed in a way that the result will be a decisive “no,” and that perhaps afterwards, there will be a referendum with a decisive “yes.”
Dodik stressed that Republika Srpska is entering a series of referendums.
“The first announced referendum will likely lead to others. I call on Serbs to remain united and to understand,” Dodik said.
Dodik stated that political Sarajevo serves a project called “to finish off Republika Srpska,” and their biggest problem is that Republika Srpska has proven to be self-sustainable.
“The only way to defend ourselves is through unity. That’s why we called for a government of national unity, which the opposition mocked, just as they are now mocking the referendum. We must not leave our children to live in BiH, because there is no place for us in BiH,” Dodik told RTRS.
Dodik added that his legal team is doing their job, aiming to bring the case regarding the ruling before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
“No one expects justice or humane treatment in the judiciary of BiH, because they want to finish off Milorad Dodik,” Dodik emphasized.
He stated that the authorities have been doing everything for 20 years to keep Republika Srpska stable, and his goal is for it to remain so.
“I am ready to risk my comfort to preserve as much of Republika Srpska as possible,” Dodik stated.
