DODIK: PUTIN CONFIRMS GAS PRICE FOR SRPSKA REMAINS THE SAME

MOSCOW, September 29 /SRNA/ — President Milorad Dodik states that Russian President Vladimir Putin has confirmed at today’s meeting in the Kremlin that gas price for Republika Srpska remains the same, and that the Russian side is interested in cooperation with the Orao Aviation Institute in Bijeljina.

Dodik noted that this was his 29th meeting with Putin and that he was pleased for having the opportunity to reaffirm cooperation in all areas, including political, economic and other matters.

"We discussed all the most important issues, and the fact that the meeting lasted about 50 minutes itself shows the level of attention that was given to it," Dodik told media from Republika Srpska after the meeting.

Dodik stressed that Russia remains committed to its partnership with Srpska, reflected in a number of issues they have addressed in the past.

"Our economic cooperation is good and is proceeding to the mutual satisfaction of both sides. There are no delays and no organised institutional obstacles," Dodik said.

He emphasised the Russian side is interested in cooperating with the Orao Aviation Institute in terms of expanding a particular aspect of the business.

"We agreed to pursue this, and the Russian side will propose certain possibilities to us," he said.

He pointed out that the Russian president had reaffirmed his commitment to keep developing relations in the gas sector referring the construction of gas-fired power plants.

"We will continue to develop our economic and cultural cooperation," Dodik said.

He added that he was pleased that Prime Minister Savo Minić had also been able to present the Republika Srpska Government’s views on sanctions-related issues, NATO membership and many other matters that were important to raise there.
