DODIK: PRESERVING THE POLICE IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT POLITICAL ACHIEVEMENTS

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 4 /SRNA/ - The President of SNSD Milorad Dodik, stated that the establishment of the Police of the Republika Srpska was one of the most important decisions, and that its preservation represents one of the most significant political achievements.

"We must never forget the reform that was imposed on us. The most detested word in my life is 'reform.' To me, it is a synonym for deception. How wrong they were is proven by the fact that the Police of the Republika Srpska is one of the key segments of the security system at the level of BiH, and one of the most organized systems in the region," Dodik said at the central ceremony marking Police Day at the Training Center in Zalužani.

Dodik emphasized that the police have no hidden agenda, but rather their mission is to protect the people and their property.

"We will safeguard and develop the Republika Srpska, and we will not allow it to be humiliated. The Republika Srpska has the right to its existence. We must demonstrate courage and persistence and not allow anyone to divert us from our tasks," Dodik stressed.

He announced new increases in funding for members of the Ministry of Interior of the Republika Srpska, highlighting their importance in maintaining peace and security.

"We see these fine uniforms, we see you here. And when I see you, I see the Republika Srpska. If I see everything that is ours, then I see the Republika Srpska. We are not against anyone in BiH. They lie when they say that. But we are not willing to be deceived, manipulated, or humiliated," Dodik said.

He added that he is proud of the progress made in recent years regarding the development and equipment of the Ministry of Interior, emphasizing the significant role of former Minister of Interior Dragan Lukač.

"We turned to our traditional friends. Serbia is here. President Aleksandar Vučić has, in this period, ensured that Serbia remains stable and recognized as a bastion of peace in this region. He has not sidelined the Republika Srpska. We must be very, very grateful to this generation of politicians in Serbia," Dodik noted.

Dodik also said he is proud of the friendship with the Russian Federation, which, as he added, "saved humanity from globalism," as well as the friendship with Hungary led by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
